A little Dream for a Little Peace
A Peace At A Time Studio was dreamt up several years ago. Like many things the dream was halted temporarily during Covid times. In those years I, Lacey, that is me in the picture, decided that my family and I needed a change of pace. I went from being a full-time art teacher in the local public schools to now owning a little peaceful art studio in our basement and backyard. The commute is pretty great as are the eager artists I get to work with.
I have a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Master’s degree in Art Education from the Art of Education University.
Beyond the formal education, creating, laughing, and learning are what I was put on this earth to do. I can not wait to help you find a peaceful moment through art-making.
